Site Rules

Respect

Respect is an important part of our site! Treating everyone with respect will let you get treated the same way, please don't bully or make fun of anyone. Also let's not forget that you have to respect staff at all costs, that includes student staff.

Age

To join or be tolerated on our server you must be 13 years old or older. We have done this because on our site we won't tolerate drama caused by little kids, 13 years old is an age of maturing and you should be aware of what's wrong and right.

American Laws

Here on the site, we follow American laws which means you have to be at least 18 to smoke and 21 to drink. No underaged drinking/smoking please. You're allowed to have ear piercings, but nothing extreme until you're at least 16.

Private Info

Sorry, if you take this as being rude but if you were dumb enough to share private information then I kinda feel bad for you. On our site don't share real info (address, names, socials, real-life pictures) Also don't share other people's private information either.

Chat

Please respect everyone equally in chat, don't disregard or make anyone feel left out intentionally. You may swear, as long as it's not directed to any other users. Also caps are allowed, but please don't use them constantly- it can get spammy. If our staff deems anything spammy or not allowed, listen to them as they're most likely right. Chat is a 1x place, no triggering subjects!

Banning

Without any information, we are allowed to ban anyone on our site at all costs. This of course will be done fairly, as the Minister of Magic and Headmaster of Hogwarts will make the correct decision together. You're not allowed to mention banning in chat!!

Profiles

Within 2 weeks of joining, you have to have your Hogwarts Information/Backstory completed, this means it's atleast 50 words. It can be a song, description of your character, but it can't be empty! If it is you'll be contacted by the Backstory Team. Your profile pictures must be appropriate; no serial killers/murderers for obvious reasons (they'll be taken down with or without permission), no nude profile pictures (males can have shirtless pictures and females should have nothing less than a bikini), no excessive blood, guns, or overly violent profile pictures.

Names

You can't have any names of the canon characters, nor can you claim relations to any canon characters. Your name can't be in all caps, it'll be changed. You can't steal the names of other users, especially staff members, it'll be changed. Any offensive names will be taken down as well. You can have names like "George Washington" or "Barry Allen", but obviously you can't claim to be them. No repeating names like "LisaLisa BarrowBarrow", it'll be changed.

Ethnicity and Nationalities

Racism is of course a no go area here on our site, which also includes your characters. If you're using a faceclaim of a different Ethnicity and Nationality, this should be played respectfully. You can't have an Asian faceclaim and claim they're American if the faceclaim isn't American. Think about your faceclaims and how you'll play them, don't do anything that could be offsensive, if you're unsure let Alistair Winterwallow, Jax Queen, or Malia Ghamer know.

Dating

You're not allowed to date anyone who isn't within atleast 2 years of your character's age. 18 year olds can date anyone 18 and above, but no one 15 years and younger. A 20 year old can't date anyone under 18. Your year doesn't matter, as long as the ages are within range. Besides you shouldn't date at 11/12/13 anyways, pay attention to classes!

Sexual Role-playing

Both users must be over 18 years old IRL to sexually roleplay and both characters have to be over 16 years of age IG. NO RAPE WHATSOEVER, AUTOMATIC BAN!

Triggering Subjects

We try to be a happy place, but you're not allowed to mention anything that could be triggering for other users this includes: death, depression, mental problems, rape, eating disorders, self-harm, drugs/alcohol, etc. We're aware people go through problems which is why you're always allowed to talk to me, Alistair Winterwallow, Jax Queen, and Malia Ghamer privately.

Mental Health/Triggering Subjects

Your characters aren't allowed to mention having depression, mental problems, eating disorders, self-harm, drugs/alcohol, etc inside their Hogwarts Information/Backstory and topics! This is so we don't trigger anyone on the site- please obey these rules. If your character would like to have a disability, please check it over with Alistair Winterwallow, Jax Queen, and Malia Ghamer and make sure this is done realistically and not for sympathy.

Death

Your character isn't allowed to die/be killed in roleplay, murdered, etc, end of story.

Overpowering/Godmodding/Etc

Yeah...this isn't allowed. You're not allowed to metagame, godmode, overpower, mary sues, etc. Please be realistic with your abilities so we can all have a good time here on the site! 11 year olds won't be the best wizards in the entire universe, please be realistic!

Powers

You can only use the abilities/potions taught to you in the Charms, DADA, and Potions class. You can only use the abilities for the year you've passed, so 8th years/graduated users can use all of the abilities. We have extra powers/statuses on the site which you can't claim to have unless you've actually won the status, which you'll be notified by Alistair Winterwallow, Jax Queen, and Malia Ghamer if you do.

Graduate Jobs

Here on the site, we have different jobs you can apply for but graduate staff help behind the scenes of the site mostly! Graduate Jobs include: Minister of Magic, Headmaster of Hogwarts, Head of Houses, Leaders, Chief Editors and Professors. If one of the positions open, you'll all be notified and you'll be able to apply! When you receive the job, you'll be given the chance for a free age up since you have to be atleast 21 years old once you get the grad job. You can also choose to make a new account to be hired on or get hired on your current. Either way, you can only have one age up from us unless you pay to age up again.

Please don't steal the codes that you find on our site as most are made by our hardworking staff team and if I find out you're stealing our codes without giving us credit or even getting our permission, you'll hear from our lawyers. The same for our artwork, it's all drawn by our staff team so please don't steal it or you'll be contacted by our lawyers. Please don't claim to be/be related to any canon characters as we're not exactly trying to be copyrighted, if you claim relations to any canon characters or claim to be them, you'll be mailed/and or deleted. You also can't use profile pictures of any of the Harry Potter actors from the movies-
